FSU football: Positional transfer needs this offseason for the Noles
QUARTERBACK
The Florida State coaching staff has already expressed its desire to add a bridge veteran quarterback this offseason. The Seminoles have three scholarship signal callers on its roster for 2024 in redshirt senior Tate Rodemaker, redshirt freshman Brock Glenn, and true freshman Luke Kromenhoek.
However, as many individuals heard during the College Football Playoff rankings reveal, the committee suggested that quarterback play during the Florida and Louisville games led to the Florida State Seminoles being left out of the playoff "invitational".
Nonetheless, all three scholarship quarterbacks have combined for three collegiate starts in their careers. There likely needs to be a veteran presence in the room with the Seminoles losing redshirt senior Jordan Travis. While I believe in Tate Rodemaker's ability to throw the football, the coaching staff cannot afford to pass up on recruiting the likes of a veteran such as Cam Ward or DJ Uiagalelei.
As I alluded to in previous articles, I believe either of them can be beneficial to the football team in 2024.
