FSU won 10 games in 2022, but rival fans and biased pundits were quick to point out that the three games they lost were against ranked teams. FSU went 13-0 in 2023 but got snubbed from the College Football Playoff, which made some folks discount the Noles again. However, the NFL Combine helped illustrate how much talent FSU had on its roster, aside from Jordan Travis, who got hurt, and the CFB Playoff Committee said FSU had no shot of winning had they made the playoff. Not only did FSU have an incredible amount of talent, but it's high-end talent.

Jared Verse will be a first-round selection. Braden Fiske, Johnny Wilson, Jarrian Jones, and Keon Coleman will likely hear their names called anywhere between the second and fourth rounds. It's almost like folks will say they knew FSU had some talent but didn't know they had THAT much talent. What does that do? That helps make it cool to choose FSU again if you're a high school recruit or impact transfer portal guy.
