DJ UIAGALELEI

I can already see Seminole fans doing their best when attempting the talented quarterback's last name. You could be saying it a lot in the coming months as Oregon State quarterback transfer DJ Uiagalelei will be officially visiting Florida State this weekend.

We all understand that the College Football Playoff committee based its decision to leave Florida State due to quarterback play from Tate Rodemaker and Brock Glenn. Unfortunately, the coaching staff did not get a huge sample size of film from Rodemaker. As a result, they felt that they need to get a bridge veteran quarterback while Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek battle it out for the 2025 season.

Uiagalelei could be a perfect candidate for that position. While I understand that most fans want Washington State quarterback transfer Cameron Ward, who will also be visiting this weekend, it seems like the Miami Hurricanes have taken the lead in his recruitment.

The Seminoles cannot afford to strike out on a quarterback, considering that they only have three scholarship options on the roster.

Uiagalelei performed admirably in his only season at Oregon State. Fans might focus on his tenure at Clemson, which saw the Tigers bench him for Cade Klubnik. However, the veteran has a multitude of years of collegiate experience, a strong arm, and can take command of an offense without turning the football over.
