FSU football: Pivotal visitor weekend upcoming for the Noles
KJ BOLDEN
There will be five Florida State commitments on campus this weekend for a visit. It seems like none of those prospects will be as important to keep as five-star defensive back KJ Bolden from Buford, Georgia. Bolden has been pledged to the Seminoles since August, but the Auburn Tigers have inserted themselves in the mix.
Bolden's relationship with Auburn head football coach Hugh Freeze is concerning, given that the Buford High School standout has visited the Tigers twice this fall. However, it has to give Seminoles fans a big sigh of relief as he will be in Tallahassee right before the Early Signing Period begins.
First-year defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has done a phenomenal job with constructing an elite secondary haul with five-star KJ Bolden, five-star Charles Lester III, four-star Jamari Howard, four-star Cai Bates, and four-star Ricky Knight III.
If Bolden does elect to stick with FSU, the Seminoles could certainly have a defensive backfield that could compete with the likes of Georgia and Alabama.
