All FSU fans know the Travis Hunter story, and he's truly the only player who de-committed from FSU to go on and become an impact player elsewhere. FSU's image took a hit with how Hunter flipped from FSU, but the program has recovered nicely, signing several top defensive backs over the past few seasons. FSU had the top secondary nationally in 2023 without him.

Nyjalik Kelly was a player FSU identified early and gained a commitment from before his recruitment blew up. He ultimately decided to stay with the hometown Miami Hurricanes where he struggled to stay healthy. He never became an impact guy and has since entered the transfer portal and committed to UCF.

Trevion Williams is another defensive end prospect FSU gained a commitment from who ultimately decided to stay in-state and sign with Mississippi State. Williams has a total of six tackles over the past two seasons.

Devaughn Mortimer signed with Louisville during the Early Signing Period and didn't play in one game before entering the transfer portal to commit to Western Michigan earlier this year.

Bah redshirted in 2022 appeared in three games with Georgia before entering the transfer portal and going to Maryland.

McAdoo signed with Arkansas and has not recorded a reception.

Marchiol redshirted in 2022 before appearing in nine games with West Virginia in 2023. He completed 30 of 53 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.

Melvin Jordan signed with Oregon State and redshirted in 2022 before playing in 13 games with 22 tackles in 2023.

Chad Mascoe signed with the Campbell Camels (not P5).
