Branden Jennings was a legacy recruit everyone went crazy about after de-committing. Jennings committed to Michigan eventually and flipped to Maryland during the Early Signing Period. FSU fans wanted the staff to recruit him again once he entered the transfer portal. I was against it based on how he handled his recruitment in high school, and he has since transferred multiple times without making an impact anywhere.
Malik McClain de-committed before ultimately signing with the Noles. He played two years at FSU with marginal success and entered the transfer portal before signing with Penn State. He had six catches for 71 yards and one touchdown at Penn State last year.
Luke Altmyer de-committed from FSU to ultimately sign with Ole Miss. He sat behind Matt Corral during his first season before playing nine games between 2021 and 2022. Altmeyer entered the transfer portal before the 2023 season, transferring to Illinois to appear in nine games last season. He completed 64 percent of his passes with 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions for 1,883 yards.
The other three games haven't done anything to note.
