FSU football: Impact players versus Georgia Bulldogs
CB AZAREYE'H THOMAS
Just like the offense, the defensive unit is missing some contributors during the Orange Bowl. Surprisingly, when the projected depth chart was released, redshirt senior cornerbacks Renardo Green and Jarrian Jones decided to opt out of the game.
While both defensive backs are talented, the Seminoles have the opportunity to see the talented sophomore cornerback Azareye'h Thomas. Luckily, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller will have a player in an important position that will most likely be a starter in 2024.
The two starting cornerbacks will Fentrell Cypress II and Azareye'h Thomas, which is a formidable unit that will be facing a Georgia offense that will be without the ultra-productive tight end Brock Bowers.
I think the defense will have more success than the offense given that there is more proven talent on that side of the football.
