DT BRADEN FISKE

As I alluded to before, several players on the roster have opted out of the game. However, one contributor who has not announced that he would not be playing is redshirt senior defensive tackle Braden Fiske.

The former Western Michigan transfer had one of the best performances of his career in the ACC Championship Game versus the Louisville Cardinals where he recorded 9 total tackles (4.5 tackles for loss) and 3 sacks. He looked like a man possessed in the middle of the defensive line where it made it difficult for the Cardinals' offense to operate.

No one would have blamed Fiske for not being available in the game. However, he elected to play to have more film on tape and elevate his NFL Draft stock as he looks to participate in the Senior Bowl.

The defensive tackle position is still relatively talented with Braden Fiske, Joshua Farmer, and Darrell Jackson Jr. (only meaningful contributors Fabien Lovett Sr. and Malcolm Ray will not be playing the bowl game).
