LB DJ LUNDY

Florida State was able to get veteran linebacker DJ Lundy back in Tallahassee from signing with the Colorado Buffaloes. It was a massive win for the Seminoles' coaching staff as the program is having to replace the likes of Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune who exceeded their eligibility.

Lundy was a productive player for Florida State's defense last year where he recorded 54 tackles (six for loss) and two sacks during the 2023 season.

Georgia Tech's offense (just like Florida State's) will want to establish the running game as the Yellow Jackets averaged 203.8 rushing yards per game (12th in the FBS). It was worrisome at times for the Seminoles in 2023 as Florida State's defense averaged 152.2 rushing yards per game (70th in the FBS).

This will likely be a contest where Lundy will have to come down in run support to stop Georgia Tech's rushing attack to make them one-dimensional. He might even have to spy on quarterback Haynes King to ensure that he does not convert third down and long situations.
