FSU football: How much will 2025 recruiting ranking improve over next month?

FSU football saw its 2024 recruiting class explode at the end of June and into early July 2023. The Noles look to be in a similar spot heading toward the end of June 2024 after hosting its largest recruiting weekend. FSU had some of its top targets on campus over the weekend. It's a strategy engineered by the coaching staff over the past few summers that has paid dividends to create momentum going into the summer months and fall camp with the Early Signing Period in December. The Noles have four commits in its 2025 recruiting class, all blue chips recruits, but the overall team ranking sits at No. 70 in the composite rankings. FSU had a top 20 recruiting class in 2023 and a top 12 class in 2024 and will look to continue that improvement among high school recruits. How much will FSU improve this No. 70 ranking over the next month?

A lot.

FSU will likely add at least five or more commitments over the next month. It'll depend on who those additions are, but they would easily enter the top 25 with almost any combination of any five guys who lean toward FSU. The Noles received crystal ball predictions for several blue-chip players within the past week. Every program within the top 25 rankings has at least 11 commitments in its 2025 recruiting class. Again, FSU has four commitments currently. FSU can afford to be selective after going undefeated in the 2023 regular season, and they have a solid nucleus of talent on its roster. Other targets may be committed to other programs that could go another route if those programs fail to deliver the goods on the field this fall. I know fans continue to get caught up with where the recruiting class ranks. However, pay more attention to what positions receive quality additions. So far, the 2025 recruiting class could have several difference-makers on the way.
