The Florida State Seminoles are making their presence felt with a variety of highly-touted prospects in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

FOUR-STAR LB ZAYDRIUS RAINEY-SALE

Florida State had very productive linebacker play from redshirt seniors Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune as well as redshirt junior DJ Lundy. However, both DeLoach and Bethune will have their eligibilities exceeded after this season and Lundy has entered the transfer portal.

As a result, the linebacker position needs to be rejuvenated with high-quality talent. The fan base has been quite vocal about the state of linebacker recruiting. I believe that linebackers coach Randy Shannon does a remarkable job of developing the talent once the prospects make it to campus.

The Seminoles were able to secure two linebacker signees in the 2024 recruiting class in three-stars Jayden Parrish and Timir Hickman-Collins. Florida State has already acquired one 2025 linebacker prospect with four-star Ethan Pritchett.

The coaching staff is not done with accumulating more talented prospects as four-star Zaydrius Rainey-Sale from Spanaway (WA) has emerged as top priority. Rainey-Sale has three crystal ball predictions in favor of Florida State. He has even visited twice to Tallahassee, despite living all the way across the country in Washington.

He will be announcing his commitment on January 6th between Florida State, Miami, Penn State, Oregon, and Washington.
