FSU football: Biggest overreactions to the Seminoles' 0-2 record start

It seems like the Florida State football fan base gets very upset when the Seminoles lose. I completely understand why individuals are frustrated given the program's expectations.

However, people always have to find scapegoats when the loss occurs. It has been pushed on head football coach Mike Norvell, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, and defensive coordinator Adam Fuller. Fans have to blame someone.

While all three parties have been disappointed, the fan base has gone off on them on social media (typical for those platforms because it allows individuals to say what they want). I don't agree with why defensive coordinator Adam Fuller continues to get disliked.

Ever since Fuller has come to Tallahassee, the fan base has pointed the finger his way. I don't think the criticism is warranted. I get it... these coaches receive the frustration of being paid millions of dollars. The Seminoles had a top-25 defense last year. However, they lost defenders such as Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, Fabien Lovett Sr., Kalen DeLoach, Tatum Bethune, Renardo Green, Jarrian Jones, and Akeem Dent.

That is a ton of talent that has to be replaced. Unfortunately, the Seminoles' defense has struggled to stop the run where Georgia Tech and Boston College have consistently established the ground game. Much of the success is that the defenders have not been able to wrap up opposing offensive players where they tried to arm tackle instead of wrapping up.

I believe that, during the bye week, you will see an improved defense as they play Memphis next week and the criticism starts to soften for Fuller.
