Johnny Wilson
Most FSU football fans knew Johnny Wilson was a physical freak, but I'm not sure they realized how much of a physical freak. Well, he showed everyone during the NFL Combine. Wilson measured 6'6" and 231 pounds, with the longest wingspan for any wide receiver in Combine history, with folks wondering if he should be a tight-end. Wilson had a 37" vertical, 10'8" broad jump, and the fourth-fastest 20-yard shuttle at 4.11.

Johnny Wilson is a WR prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.88 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 39 out of 3090 WR from 1987 to 2024.

For comparison, Kelvin Benjamin was a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Johnny Wilson is bigger and beat every number Benjamin put up at the Combine by a considerable amount. The biggest knock on Wilson was his hands and he had a flawless shuttle and improved his catch percentage quite a bit this season. I said I'd take him over Keon Coleman in January and some folks thought I was crazy. My reasoning was you can find a Keon Coleman every year, but Wilson is a rare breed that can still impact the game if he's playing at less than 100 percent. I wonder if a team will take a chance on him in the first or second round.
