FSU football: 5 players who could become leaders in 2024

Honorable Mentions
-Joshua Farmer
-Patrick Payton
-Shyheim Brown
-AZ Thomas
-Roydell Williams
Joshua Farmer is a guy who's been developed by the coaching staff out of high school. He'll be one of the better defensive tackles in the ACC and made the All-ACC Second team last season. I would have put him in the top five, but he's flirted with leaving FSU too much to my liking for the past two years. Patrick Payton is in the same boat after posting some things on social media after the season. Those are not things you want your team leaders doing, but ultimately they will be productive on the field and decided to stay with the Noles.
Shyheim Brown is a guy that quietly emerged as a dependable player in the FSU secondary, and Adam Fuller has put a lot on his plate. Brown is a guy that has done things the right way and I expect to improve on the past two seasons. AZ Thomas is of the same mold. He's not the most vocal, but will lead by example on and off the field. Roydell Williams is a guy with production and experience at a premier program. I can see him fitting in and leading by example, especially if he excels early in camp.
