Hykeem Williams-WR

Most FSU football fans realize the wide receiver position is one of the biggest question marks heading into the season. FSU has talent, but it's largely unproven and will need to show up for FSU to meet expectations in 2024. Malik Benson is the guy most expect to be the No. 1 option at receiver. Ja'Khi Douglas is a proven guy in the slot, and his brother Jaylin Lucas will be a factor. FSU has some veteran guys like Kentron Poitier and Darion Williamson. However, the x-factor they need to be a difference-maker from a production standpoint is sophomore Hykeem Williams.

Williams appeared to be on his way before an injury sidelined him for much of the second half. Williams playing early last season was a good sign, and he has the talent to be a difference-maker. If Williams can find that level and Benson plays to expectations, it would drastically change how the offense looks. FSU could stretch the field vertically, attack over the middle, the flats, and all that should open the running game. If Benson's the only reliable option, that'll make it more difficult to do all those mentioned.
