FSU football: 5 major takeaways from 2024 Early Signing Day
By Kelvin Hunt
Quarterback
The quarterback position is arguably the most important in recruiting. The way the FSU coaching staff filled the position in the 2024 recruiting class is remarkable and a testament to their ability to evaluate. They signed Luke Kromenhoek, the No. 54 player nationally and high-ranked player in the class. The crazy part? Kromenhoek didn't have any offers and hadn't started a high school game when the FSU coaching staff offered him. FSU football fans steadily watched his recruiting ranking rapidly rise from a three-star to a composite four-star.
Kromenhoek has all the goods. He is 6'4" and 205 pounds. He's got a great arm and great athleticism. Kromenhoek played safety for his high school before taking over the quarterback role. He has a great personality and was one of the biggest recruiters for the 2024 class. He'll also early enroll and begin practice soon, which will allow him to compete and earn a spot on the field quickly. Many folks are high on Kromenhoek as the future at QB. Anytime you can sign a player like that at the position, it's a good day.
