Marvin Jones Jr.

Former five-star defensive end and legacy player Marvin Jones Jr. hasn't lived up to the hype of his high school ranking. Frankly, he has been a non-factor in the first three games and wasn't playing well against California early in the game.

He refuses to set the edge in the run game and was responsible for at least two of California's longer rushes. However, he finally came to life in the fourth quarter to record his first two sacks of the season.

The first sack was a strip fumble, but California recovered the ball. However, Jones got another sack on to help FSU deny the California Bears as they marched down the field. He finished the game with four tackles and two sacks.

He played with better overall effort Saturday night but will need to learn how to set the edge if he wants to really impact the defense.
