Need More Consistency From WR

FSU lost its two best wide receivers to the NFL Draft, which equates to nearly all of its production from a year ago. Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman were a cheat code when healthy, and Wilson was still a handful when he wasn't 100 percent. FSU must replace those guys and brought some ultra-talented guys from the transfer portal and high school ranks. Transfer Malik Benson, and young guys like Hykeem Williams and Destyn Hill have the potential to be difference-makers. FSU also has some veteran players like Darion Williamson, Ja'Khi Douglas, and Kentron Poitier who can be impact players.

There have been too many drops at practice according to Mike Norvell. He attributes the drops to lack of focus, an excellent secondary, and likely the lack of rapport between the quarterbacks and receivers because they don't have much practice time together. This area should get better as the players get more reps together. We must remember there are a lot of new players in this offense and the coaches are throwing a lot at them early.
