FSU Will Likely See Guys Leave/Arrive After The Spring Game

FSU football will host its Seminole Showcase on Saturday, and that will signal the end of spring camp for the most part. Mike Norvell and the coaching staff will meet with the players and have conversations about the players' future at FSU afterward. It'll be clear where they are on the depth chart, and they can decide whether to stay or hit the portal. Some positions are more clear than others, and Greedy Vance's situation was a prime example.

I expect the guys who plan to enter the portal will do so after Saturday when the coaches have the opportunity to have a conversation, as they lay out individual plans for summer workouts. That helps get closer to the 85 scholarship limit(they are a few over right now) and lets the coaches know how many players they could add from the portal. This coaching staff always has a plan, and they never fly by the seat of their pants like other coaching staff. I'll be interested to see which position groups have players leave. That'll likely give you a solid indicator of the depth chart and where they could add players.
