QB/WR Work

I have been one of the earliest supporters of the FSU offense being better in 2024 than in 2023. A big part of that will be transfer QB DJ Uiagalelei continuing to learn the offense and building rapport with the FSU wide receivers. Uiagalelei has already shown he can learn a new offense quickly and lead one of the top offenses nationally. He left Clemson to enroll at Oregon State and led the Beavers to a No. 11 offense nationally, according to FEI advanced metrics. The summer is an opportunity for Uiagalelei to work on that individualized plan the coaches provide while getting unlimited reps with the receivers on campus.

Mike Norvell can make a rushing attack out of nothing, so we already know the rushing attack will be legit with an improved offensive line and a stable of capable running backs. However, it'll be the passing attack that will make the offense truly lethal with a vertical attack in 2024. The summer months will pay dividends later as these guys put in the work to form attacks at all three levels. A potent vertical attack will open the short to intermediate routes, and screens could help open the vertical ones.
