Offensive Line

FSU football offensive line and coordinator Alex Atkins hasn't played any games on the recruiting trail in the 2025 recruiting cycle. It's been over a decade since FSU has had two of the best offensive linemen nationally committed this early. Solomon Thomas ranks No. 14, and Peyton Joesph ranks No. 183 nationally. Those two players were top targets for the Noles, but they need to close out strong with one more remaining target. It's five-star Josh Petty, who ranks No. 37 nationally. Petty is set to announce his commitment on August 12th.

He officially visited the Noles on June 21st, when they had 19 of their top targets on campus for official visits. FSU has already landed several guys who were on their official visits that weekend, and Petty's sister is an FSU student. If Alex Atkins can reel in Petty, it would be a monster haul at the offensive line position. There's no question it would be the best offensive line class in well over a decade with only three players.
