FSU Sends 13 players To NFL/Negates Negative Recruiting Angle

FSU football had one player selected in the NFL Draft in 2022 and one in 2023. However, the trickle of players from FSU to the NFL exploded with 13 players (10 draftees), which is the most since the 2015 NFL Draft. Some desperate teams like Miami tried to use every possible negative recruiting tactic to stop quality players from signing with FSU. One was the lack of players FSU had sent to the NFL over the past few seasons. That narrative got crushed over the weekend, and what makes it worse is that FSU is just getting started under Mike Norvell. There are double-digit guys on the current roster who will likely get selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Not only that, but a good portion of those players will be guys the coaching staff developed out of high school. Players like Patrick Payton, Shyheim Brown, AZ Thomas, DJ Lundy, Darius Washington, and Robert Scott(if healthy) will be in the mix. If those players get drafted, that kills another false narrative about the coaching staff not developing high school talent. If Mike Norvell was cooking rivals while dealing with all these teams using all these negative recruiting tactics. What do folks think he's going to do when there's nothing they can use with any credibility? It's about to be scary hours in Tallahassee once again.
