FSU football held its second scrimmage of the 2024 fall camp on Saturday morning. The team started with some situational stuff similar to last week's scrimmage before moving into a more traditional scrimmage with regular down and distances on the field. This scrimmage wasn't open to the public (just like the one last week wasn't). FSU head coach Mike Norvell spoke with the media afterward and gave his quick reactions to what he saw. Overall, he was pleased with the scrimmage, and they got out relatively healthy, which is one of the most important aspects. He mentioned a few guys are dealing with some things, but he doesn't think it's anything long-term.

FSU will take the field two weeks from Saturday against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Dublin, Ireland. Mike Norvell mentioned they would begin installing a few things related to Georgia Tech in the next few days. There's still a ton of competition for a few spots on the depth chart, but the focus will likely begin to shift to the team's health and preparation for Georgia Tech over the next two weeks. Here are my three major takeaways from the scrimmage.
