FSU football: 3 keys to victory for Noles against California Bears

Good Offensive Line Play
The offensive line hasn't played great all season, especially in the last two games. However, FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins returned this week and will be at the game on Saturday night. There's a chance FSU could get two starters returning on the offensive line: Darius Washington and Jeremiah Byers. The offensive line at least looked competent when both were available for the season opener against Georgia Tech.
FSU quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has been under constant duress on passing plays, and running backs have had to dodge defenders deep in the backfield on running plays. The poor offensive line play has made it difficult to find rhythm and balance. If the offensive line can help establish a running game, that'll open up more of the offense and keep FSU out of predictable passing situations. California's defensive line isn't anything special. Here's to hoping the return of Alex Atkins gives them some needed juice to this unit.
