FSU football will host the undefeated California Bears on Saturday night on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. It's a winnable game for the Noles, as we discussed on Thursday. It's a game FSU needs to win to give its fans some glimmer of hope they are making progress as they near the toughest part of their schedule.

The biggest issue has been the lack of offense for the Noles, and they'll get challenged by an opportunistic defense that's forced eight turnovers in the first three games.

The FSU offense can do itself a favor by scoring and giving the FSU defense some confidence they'll hold up their end of the bargain. The FSU defense hasn't been great, but has played well enough to win at least two games. They seem to have found themselves since they didn't have to worry about a super-mobile quarterback last week.

The same will hold on Saturday night. FSU quarterback DJ Uiagalalei lit this California defense up last week, throwing for 275 yards and five touchdowns. I don't think anyone expects Uiagalelei to match those numbers. However, he must get this offense going somehow. Here are my three keys to victory for the Noles on Saturday night.
