Florida State football lost to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Dublin, Ireland by a score of 24-21 on Saturday afternoon. The Seminoles are coming off a 2023 campaign where they accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship.

However, all of the accomplishments from last season do not matter anymore as the Seminoles got humbled in every aspect on Saturday by Georgia Tech.

To say that I was shocked is an understatement, especially for a Georgia Tech team that had an over/under win total of 4.5. While the 12-team College Football Playoff allows the Seminoles to stay in the race, they still have games against Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame, North Carolina, and Florida.

Florida State welcomes over forty newcomers via the transfer portal and recruiting ranks this offseason. However, many teams across the country added new pieces to their squads. That cannot be an excuse that the Seminoles should utilize.

Saturday afternoon was disappointing. As a result, I want to break down three (I could write so many more) concerns from the loss versus Georgia Tech.
