This game is the one the Miami Hurricanes circle every year. It's their Super Bowl, and everyone is hyping them this offseason like usual. Miami was the No. 30 overall team via FEI in 2023. Their offense ranked No. 34, and their defense was No. 37. Miami head coach Mario Cristobal knows he has to win this season or risk losing the fan base, so he went to the transfer portal after criticizing FSU for using that approach. They added some talent, but most of Miami's overall talent is young players who need time to develop. They will rely heavily on transfer QB Cam Ward to carry the offense. The only problem is he's a turnover machine who takes too many sacks and isn't effective once you take his first read away.

Miami's saving grace is they play a cupcake schedule aside from a handful of teams. I think FSU's defense will give Miami's offense all kinds of problems, and I don't think Miami's defense will hold up against FSU. Miami will have to commit more guys to the box and leave that vulnerable secondary on islands to defend FSU's elite speed. Plus, FSU's coaching staff can gameplan and outcoach circles around Cristobal and his staff. FSU will extend its winning streak to four with a 34-24 win and a 70 percent chance to win.
