FSU football: 2024 Game-by-game predictions and win shares

Vs. Florida on November 30th

As mentioned, FSU will use the Charleston Southern game to prepare for the Florida Gators. Who knows what version of the Gators FSU will face at that point? There's a solid shot that Billy Napier is no longer the head coach after they go through a brutal regular season with several losses. Florida was the No. 46 team overall via FEI. They had the No. 36 offense and the No. 72 defense. They return their starting quarterback, running back, and a nice receiver in Eugene Wilson.

Florida will be solid on offense, but the defense needs major improvements. I think the latter's lack of overall talent and depth will be their downfall. If Napier gets fired before this game, it could get ugly for the Gators. I'm staying conservative and assume he makes it till then. Napier's a solid offensive coach, and they have some weapons. However, I think FSU's defense will limit them enough for FSU's offense to wear down the Gator defense. FSU wins its third consecutive over the Gators with a 31-23 win and a 75 percent chance to win. I would go with a higher percentage, but rivalry games get crazy.

Overall

My official prediction is 11-1. My win share percentage comes out to 9.024 wins. It's essentially a three game season between Clemson, Notre Dame, and Miami.
