FSU football: 16 players who could be selected in 2025 NFL Draft
By Kelvin Hunt
Joshua Farmer
Another player who kills the false narrative of FSU not developing high school players. Joshua Farmer was the first player to commit to FSU during a non-transitional class. He arrived at FSU around 250 pounds and now lists 6'3" and 318 pounds. Farmer redshirted in 2021 before appearing in all 13 games in 2022, recording 15 tackles, six tackles for a loss, and two sacks. He was a Freshman Honorable Mention All-American by College Football and led all ACC freshmen in tackles for a loss.
His role increased in 2023, starting 13 games and recording 32 tackles, including seven for loss with five sacks, two quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble. He was a second-team All-ACC selection while rotating with Braden Fiske, Fabien Lovett, and Malcolm Ray. Farmer will team up with former high school teammate Darrell Jackson for one of the best defensive tackle duos in the ACC in 2024.
