Oh, wait, another high school player developed by this coaching staff? This staff didn't sign Darius Washington out of high school, but Alex Atkins has developed him into one of the most versatile offensive linemen in the ACC. Washington has made starts at center, left, and right tackle, and can play on the interior at either guard spot.
The redshirt senior played in 13 games in 2023, with 10 starts, and was a Phil Steele honorable mention All-American and First-Team All-ACC. Washington made two starts at center and eight at left tackle. Washington is listed at 6'4" and 310 pounds. He's incredibly smart and is one of the leaders on this FSU team. I expect Darius Washington to have a strong 2024, and his versatility will get him drafted by some lucky NFL team.
