Hykeem Williams

I mentioned Malik Benson as a receiver who has the potential to be a No. 1 receiver. Another option is former five-star Hykeem Williams. The encouraging thing about Williams is he's only a sophomore and was on the field early as a true freshman. He put in a lot of work to get in shape and show the willingness to block in the run game and got rewarded with offensive opportunities before an injury hampered the rest of his freshman season.

Williams looked like he was on the precipice of breaking out as a contributor in a wide receiver room with major NFL talent. Williams has another spring under his belt and another year in the offensive system. I've talked about the need for someone to take the reigns and emerge from this group. I hope to see Williams moving well and making a couple of plays on Saturday.
