DJ Uiagalelei

Mike Norvell announced Luke Kromenhoek and Brock Glenn will not play in the game on Saturday. That means Oregon State transfer DJ Uiagalelei and freshman early enrollee Trevor Jackson will get extended reps. Uiagalelei was brought in because he is a talented player with a ton of starting experience between his stops at Clemson and Oregon State. He has proven he can learn an offense quickly by what he accomplished in his lone season at Oregon State.

Mike Norvel and the coaching staff have praised him outwardly as he's started to assert himself as the No. 1 quarterback over the past few weeks. I know Mike Norvell will likely keep the offense vanilla, but everyone knows Uiagalelei has a cannon for an arm, I'll be looking for how he manages the offense. I'll be looking to see his intermediate throws and his accuracy overall. If Uiagalelei can improve his accuracy and take care of the football similar to Jordan Travis? This FSU offense will likely put up crazy numbers in 2024.
