How Good Can DJ Uiagalelei Be in 2024?

I've already given thoughts on why I believe DJ Uiagalelei will surprise people under Mike Norvell's tutelage in 2024. I don't want to rehash it but feel free to check it out, as it's pretty in-depth. The extra time coaches can spend with players over the summer months is a big plus. Also, Mike Norvell, with the ability to communicate with Uiagalelei between each play through the new helmet technology, could be a game-changer. I believe much of Uiagalelei's issues at Clemson were related to poor coaching. Oregon State had the No. 11 offense via FEI advanced metrics with him as QB last season. He didn't turn the ball over much, didn't take many negative plays, and was highly productive despite his three leading wide receivers standing shorter than 6'0" tall.

He was also effective in the running game. The fact he learned the Oregon State offense quickly tells me he should pick up FSU's offense. The biggest thing is continuing to form a rapport with the receivers and learn all of the checks at the line of scrimmage. His 40+ college starts should help him understand concepts quickly. I truly believe he can throw for 3,000+ yards and 30 touchdowns in Mike Norvell's offense. He won't have to complete a ton of passes because they'll get the ball down the field vertically. That should open up the run game and it's pick-your-poison time for opposing defenses.
