FSU football: 10 big things that will define 2024 season
By Kelvin Hunt
Three Game Stretch
I mentioned the FSU schedule was manageable overall, but there's a three-game stretch late in the season that could prove pivotal. The Noles will travel to Miami(Doak South) on October 26th, host North Carolina on November 2nd, and will travel to Notre Dame on November 9th. FSU will likely be betting favorites against Miami and North Carolina, and slight betting underdogs against Notre Dame. A win over Miami negates most of what I'm going to say.
A loss against Miami could put the Noles in a tough spot against North Carolina, with Notre Dame on deck. I expect FSU to beat Miami, but if they lose, they can't allow that game to affect the games against North Carolina and Notre Dame. We see it every season with mentally weak teams like Miami in past years. They lose a game, only to see it result in a 2-3 game losing streak. I expect this FSU team to be mentally strong, but a bad stretch there could drastically change the season for the Noles.
