Former FSU RB Trey Benson's jersey number unveiled for the Arizona Cardinals

Former Florida State football players had a successful time while several of them were selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Seminoles' program had an amazing 2023 campaign, which included an undefeated regular season and a conference championship.

One particular player on the roster that made the Seminoles truly dynamic was running back Trey Benson, who was selected in the second round by the Arizona Cardinals. Benson accumulated 906 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns last season for Florida State.

Head football coach Mike Norvell's offensive scheme revolved around the idea of running the football. This allows the vertical passing game to spread out to its playmakers and keep the opposing defenses honest. Benson was the Seminoles' home run threat when they needed a chunk play.
