Five Florida State football players who will battle for jobs in spring practice
DESTYN HILL
The man, the myth, the legend... Destyn Hill.
Fans were so excited to see the former Class of 2021 four-star wide receiver prospect in action this past season after he had his enrollment delayed due to a personal matter. Some individuals even questioned if Hill was a real person.
During his first season with the Seminoles, the former Edna Karr High School standout did not make much of a difference where he only recorded 6 receptions for 87 yards. It seemed as though quarterback Jordan Travis primarily had three weapons that focused on in the offense: Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, and Jaheim Bell.
All three playmakers have declared for the 2024 NFL Draft and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans will have to find viable replacements for them. I believe that the Louisiana native can make a sizable difference in the slot as well as on the outside due to DJ Uiagalelei favoring his weapons in the slot.
Could this be the breakout from Hill that Seminole fans have been dreaming of? I definitely think so.
