FSU football benefitted from having a successful 2023 season where it finished with an undefeated regular season and an ACC Championship. However, the Seminoles have to replace a ton of players who were significant contributors.

Head football coach Mike Norvell and company have made a living from acquiring talent via the transfer portal. The Seminoles obtained fifteen transfers this offseason. As a result, Florida State currently has a 9.5 over/under total for 2024 with FanDuel Sportsbook.

The expectations are at an all-time high where Florida State has a combined record of 23-4 in the last two seasons. Transfers come to Tallahassee in hopes of gaining a starting spot. This spring could be very interesting as the program looks to achieve long-term sustainability in the new college football landscape.
