QUESTIONING QB DJ UIAGALELEI?

In the "Always College Football" show, McElroy questioned the ability of quarterback DJ Uiagalelei and the playmakers around him. While I don't think Uiagalelei has the ability to win a Heisman Trophy (not to say that he is a bad signal-caller), I believe that Norvell will do enough to scheme the offense around his strengths- throwing the football downfield.

The playmakers are not fantastic as Alabama transfer Malik Benson will likely be the number-one receiver. However, I believe that Florida State does have better weapons than he did at Clemson and Oregon State. If Uiagalelei can improve his accuracy on short to intermediate throws, it could be the best season of collegiate football that he has had.

All in all, I believe that the Seminoles' season will come down to five games in 2024: SMU, Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame, and Florida. If Florida State can find a way to win at least two of those five contests then I believe a 9-3 record would not warrant a team being unranked.

It is all good though, head football coach Mike Norvell will have his team ready to go!
