Does this mean that former QB Jameis Winston will be featured on Heisman House?

The college football landscape received news featuring USC running back Reggie Bush will be getting his 2025 Heisman Trophy back. While that is an awesome feat for the former Trojan. This is ChopChat, which covers Florida State athletics.

The real issue that needs to be addressed is the fact that former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston has still not been featured in the Nissan Heisman House commercials after winning the 2013 Heisman Trophy.

Winston had a remarkable Heisman Trophy campaign during the 2013 season where the Seminoles won their first national championship since 1999. The Hueytown native was one of the best signal-callers in the country where he completed 257 of his 384 passes (66.9%) for 4,057 yards and 40 touchdowns with only 10 interceptions.

There was not a more polarizing figure in college football during the 2013 season than Jameis Winston. Several individuals (outside of the fan base) poked fun at his Publix crab legs incident as well as the sexual allegations.

Overall, Winston still got the last laugh when he was drafted No. 1 overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2015 NFL Draft. As he is often quoted for during his pre-game speech in their lopsided victory versus Clemson in 2013: "We ain't leaving without a victory!"

While he has not been featured in the Nissan Heisman House (I believe that he should), Winston is a hilarious individual who has an amazing skill set as a passer. While we are on the subject of giving players back awards that they deserve, let's please give head football coach Bobby Bowden back the victories that should still have.

Nonetheless, this is a step in the right direction for Winston getting the recognition that he rightfully deserves since he is one of Florida State football's legends who will be remembered for a lifetime.
