Florida State football had several contributors that helped its 2023 squad to an undefeated regular season and a conference championship. One of those playmakers was junior wide receiver Keon Coleman. The former Michigan State transfer recorded 50 receptions for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2023 season for the Seminoles.

Coming off a fantastic season, he elected to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. On Friday night, it was announced that Keon Coleman was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 33rd overall pick.

Even though Coleman dealt with adversity through some injuries and inconsistencies, he continued to fight for the betterment of the team. Head football coach Mike Norvell has always emphasized the word "culture" and the Michigan State transfer made the Florida State faithful proud.

The Buffalo Bills have all-star quarterback Josh Allen under season. They made headlines this offseason after trading away their number one option in Stefon Diggs. However, Coleman could be the missing link in their offense.

This could be a perfect opportunity for the former Michigan State transfer to blossom into his own. While Coleman did not become a 1,000-yard receiver at Florida State, I believe that he can be a successful option in Buffalo.

This is something that the 6'3" playmaker has dreamed of his whole life. I get so excited when I see Florida State Seminoles accomplish something so special for themselves and their loved ones.

It looks like coming to Florida State was a wise decision for Coleman. Even though he was not selected in the first round likely due to the 4.61 40-yard dash in the scouting combine, he is a weapon that the Bills could not resist.

It is always tough to see how many snaps that rookie wide receiver will get in his first season, but the talent could be too much to ignore leaving him off the field.
