ACC early power rankings. . . . . 434. . 2. .

Now this one may be a surprise, as a lot of people would probably have Duke at No. 1 in these power rankings, but it was hard to put them there with the number of transfers they lost this offseason.

Duke lost the most transfers in the ACC with seven players leaving the Blue Devils to play elsewhere. Now, Duke will always be talented and anyone they have returning will bring talent to the team, but with the amount of talent that left, they just could not be No. 1 in these rankings.

The upside for Duke is that they have the No. 1 recruiting class coming into next season along with a few transfers from Purdue. Duke will obviously be a team in the running for a National Championship next year, especially with the talent they have coming in, but they need to figure out how to keep that talent on the roster for a longer period of time.
