. . . . 8. 444. ACC early power rankings. . .

Pitt had the opportunity to make it to the NCAA Tournament last season but unfortunately fell short of the opportunity. The Panthers had to say goodbye to Bub Carrington and Blake Hinson to the NBA Draft, along with Fede Federiko heading to Texas Tech through the transfer portal.

So with three starters gone, the Panthers are left with starters Jaland Lowe and ACC 6th Man of the Year Ishmael Leggett still on the roster, but those are solid guys to build around. Pitt did land two big transfers from Houston and Florida State. Cam Corhen from FSU comes to the Panthers averaging 9.4 points per game and 3.9 rebounds. They also got Damian Dunn from Houston who only averaged 6.4 points per game, but comes from a defensive powerhouse in Houston.

There are still some more spots to fill, but so far the roster is rounding out nicely for head coach Jeff Capel.
