DARIUS WASHINGTON'S VERSATILITY

Fans understand that offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has a veteran offensive line that has pieces such as Darius Washington, Maurice Smith, and Robert Scott Jr. who have been around the program for multiple years.

Norvell spoke directly about Washington on Sunday where he stated: "Darius Washington can play a lot of different places. I'm excited about his growth and confidence."

Washington has been tabbed as the left tackle of the offensive line for the Seminoles. That is noteworthy since he has played all over the position group with center, guard, and tackle. It is nice to see him solidified at the blindside for protecting quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.

This should be one of Atkins' best position groups that he has had since he arrived in Tallahassee. This offense should be able to run the football effectively.
