CB AZAREYE'H THOMAS WILL BE THAT GUY

This might be a bit of a bold take considering that the Seminoles are seeing veteran pieces such as cornerbacks Renardo Green and Jarrian Jones as well as safety Akeem Dent. All three of them had successful careers in Tallahassee, but now it is time for the new sheriff in town.

Introducing the one and only Azareye'h Thomas, who has been terrorizing Florida State's wide receiver core during camp. Thomas was a key reserve defensive back who recorded 29 tackles (4.5 for loss) and 10 pass break ups during the 2023 season.

Defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has been considered a tremendous developer. He emphasizes the importance of taking the football away from opposing offenses. I know Surtain Sr. has to be excited to have a defensive back such as Azareye'h on his rotation of players.

Thomas was a former four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle that the coaching staff was high on. While I realize that a ton of the attention was placed on the Seminoles not acquiring five-star prospect Travis Hunter, the Niceville, Florida product was someone that I know Florida State was happy that they acquired.
