QB DJ UIAGALELEI THROWS THE DEEP BALL

Florida State added transfer quarterback DJ Uiagalelei this offseason to replace the likes of do-it-all Jordan Travis, who meant so much to the Seminoles' football program.

Uiagalelei formerly played for Clemson and Oregon State and has had an inconsistent collegiate career. He has shortcomings with his accuracy when it comes to short/intermediate passes.

The veteran did have 45 passing touchdowns and only 14 interceptions over the past two seasons though. As most college football fans know, Norvell is one of the best offensive playcallers in all of college football.

Norvell certainly gets the most out of his players. One thing that Uiagalelei excels in is his ability to throw the football downfield. His deep ball seems so effortlessly given his 6'4", 252-pound frame. Even with the "lack of playmakers", the Seminoles should still have an advantage with his ability to spread the opposing defense out.
