Recruiting can be a difficult obstacle to overcome especially when it involves teenagers making one of the more challenging decisions of their lifetime. With that being said, you only get one recruitment as a high schooler so live it up when you can. Okay... maybe you can have three or four with multiple de-commitments but let's just assume for normalcy.

Florida State has been dealing with keeping its commitments in its recruiting class. The Seminoles have four pledges in their class with five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

The Seminoles have already had to battle the likes of arch-rival Florida Gators with four-star quarterback commit Tramell Jones Jr. and seem to be heading in a good direction with keeping the Mandarin High School standout in the fold.

Four-star defensive end Javion Hilson announced on Sunday that he would be shutting down his recruitment and sticking with Florida State which is massive considering that the Texas Longhorns and their flashy cars were making an impact.

But what about five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida? He was flirting with schools such as LSU and Florida. Thomas did not shut down his recruitment on Sunday but he did have a resounding statement about the Seminoles.

Thomas talked with a variety of media members outside the Moore Center before he departed campus after his official visit. He provided the following statement: "There is nothing else to see here. I'm a Nole!"

Originally, Thomas indicated that he was not a fan of the recruitment process. He committed to the Seminoles back in December and has remained a pivotal part of how Florida State wants to construct their offensive line. I cannot say that I blame the Jacksonville native for entertaining other schools, he is a very talented prospect.

Overall, the quote should quiet down the fan base as the recruiting dead period is underway.
