DT MYRON CHARLES

We have already discussed two members of the trenches on the offensive side of the football. Let's now navigate over to the defensive side as four-star defensive tackle Myron Charles from Port Charlotte, Florida will be taking a multi-day visit with Florida State this weekend.

This is significant because the Seminoles already have one crystal ball prediction in favor of the university. Overall, this is a recruitment that needs to be pursued. Florida State has only been able to bring in one defensive tackle prospect during the 2024 recruiting cycle in three-star Jamorie Flagg.

While I do believe that Flagg is incredibly talented, the defensive tackle position room needs to be reloaded as talented pieces such as Braden Fiske, Fabien Lovett Sr., Malcolm Ray, and Ayobami Tifase are no longer on the roster.

Charles would be a huge acquisition for defensive tackle coach Odell Haggins and the recruiting class. However, it is worth noting that arch-rival Miami Hurricanes have an official visit scheduled with Charles in June. He is considered the 140th-best prospect according to the 247Sports Composite ranking.
