TE KYLE MORLOCK

During the last offseason, the Florida State Seminoles were able to pick up tight end transfer Kyle Morlock. The talented pass catcher came from Shorter, which is a Division II school. Morlock had 57 catches for 890 yards and 11 touchdowns in 24 games at Shorter.

During the 2023 season for the Seminoles, he had 19 receptions for 255 yards. One particular game that stands out was against Pittsburgh where Florida State was limited on offensive playmakers. Morlock recorded four receptions for 80 yards. Florida State's offseason was filled with excitement when they acquired South Carolina's Jaheim Bell, who was a dynamic weapon of his own.

However, Bell has now moved on and declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. The tight end position has always been a staple in Mike Norvell's offenses. They even added four-star prospect Landen Thomas in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

However, it is time for Morlock to get his opportunity as he enters his redshirt senior campaign being a second-year Seminole.
