IOL RICHIE LEONARD IV

Florida State has the same story on the offensive line as the Seminoles are looking to replace the likes of D'Mitiri Emmanuel (who is a support staff coach at Florida State) and Casey Roddick at the guard positions.

Offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins added three transfer pieces this offseason such as Alabama's TJ Ferguson, Florida's Richie Leonard IV, and Harvard's Jacob Rizy.

It seems like Atkins loves acquiring transfers to fill veteran experience in his offensive line. The most experienced piece that he added was Richie Leonard IV from Florida. I do realize that the arch-rival Gators were horrific in 2023 as they limped to the finish line with a 5-7 record, but Leonard IV seemed to be a staple on the offensive line where he started all 12 games at left guard.

The veteran has brought that sense of leadership and expertise to the Seminoles' offensive line unit as the coaching staff has raved about his abilities. He looks to be a lock at the left guard position in a crowded interior offensive linemen room while pieces such as TJ Ferguson and Keiondre Jones battle it out at right guard.
