Florida State football's team has several newcomers via the transfer portal and recruiting ranks. Head football coach Mike Norvell and his coaching staff must find the squad's identity.

Norvell remains confident in the team's ability to be successful. During his tenure at Florida State, he has vastly improved the Seminoles' culture and displayed the winning ways in Tallahassee during his four seasons at the helm. Florida State has a combined 23-4 record over the past two seasons.

It feels like the general public thinks that the Seminoles will take a step back during the 2024 season. However, the preseason AP poll feels like Florida State will still be productive as a squad where they rank as the tenth-best team in the country.

With so many newcomers in the program, I thought it would be appropriate to highlight players who I thought have improved their stock with playing time since the Seminoles started fall camp.
